This Mourvèdre driven wine blends the cool minerality of mountain riverstones with the savory warmth of fresh-picked thyme and anise-tinged Thai basil. The first sip reveals a beautiful friction between bright, bittersweet fruit and stony earth—think snappy lingonberry and blood orange layered over graphite and wet calcified limestone. Beneath the fruit and stone lies a core of cured bresaola and artisanal meats. The tannins are youthfully tight and insistent, offering a precise, mouth-coating frame that will soften beautifully over time, promising a long, glorious evolution in the cellar.
The 2024 Trivia was painstakingly curated with organic farming practices, small-batch winemaking and a reverence for site expression:

The most Mourvèdre-driven of the estate's GSM blends, the 2024 Trivia is based on 60% Mourvèdre, 25% Grenache, and 15% Syrah. It was fermented with 20-25% whole cluster and aged 16 months in 27% new French oak. It offers candied red fruits, pepper, leather, and lots of floral nuances on the nose. It's medium-bodied on the palate, with a nicely balanced mouthfeel, fine tannins, and nicely integrated acidity. There are 119 cases. This floral, exotic, spicy effort should keep for 8-10 years. Drink 2026-2036.
