Shipping Methods and Costs
United Parcel Service (“UPS”) Ground is Decemil Estate Wines’ carrier and shipping method of choice. Ground shipping is provided by UPS Ground at current market rates or at the discounted rate specified from time-to-time by your Club Membership or special promotions, if any. Your applicable shipping charges will be shown on your order before check-out. If we choose to offer other shipping services such as Fed Ex 2-Day Air or Cold Pack shipping, and you select one of these shipping options, you will pay the current rate for such services, regardless of your wine club membership or purchase amount.
When can I Expect to Receive my Order?
Orders submitted by 10:00 am (Pacific Time Zone) Monday-Friday typically ship the next business day, however, an order may take up to 3 business days to process. You will receive an email notification when your order has shipped that will include tracking information. Allow extra time if you need to receive a shipment before certain busy holidays. If you have an urgent requirement, please contact us at info@decemilwines.com or call (805) 226-2828.
States Authorized for Direct Shipment
Decemil Estate Wines is applying for new direct-to-consumer state shipping permits on an ongoing basis and we will keep our list of states current for all permits we’ve been granted. We will not be able to ship wines, directly or indirectly to certain states due to various regulations or restrictions. If we are unable to ship directly to your state, we may be able to arrange for the sale and shipment of our products through a third party. However, when dealing through a third party, wine prices, discounts and shipping costs may differ from those initially quoted by Decemil Estate Wines.
Receiving Wine Shipments
Someone must be present to receive and sign for your wine at your specified delivery address who is 21 years of age or older. Some states may match the birthdate on the ID provided at the time of delivery with the birthdate you provided us when you established an account or placed your order with us, so please use your exact birthdate.
Wine is a Delicate Commodity
Wine is perishable and does not like extremes of temperature, and heat, humidity or cold winter weather may adversely affect your wine during shipment. We may choose to delay the shipment of wine orders if our shipping service provider advises that weather conditions would put your wine at risk of damage. Decemil Estate Wines is not responsible for wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment.
