2025 Willow Creek district Rosé
Tasting
Notes
We changed things up a bit in crafting the 2025 Rosé by Du Beau. The 2025 growing season threw a bit of a curveball towards the end with cool temperatures and a couple cycles of rain. As a result, the rows in pour Mourvèdre block that we designate for making Rosé refused to get very ripe. We’ve always included some Grenache in the mix, but for 2025 we increased the Grenache component to the majority in order to blend up to a ripeness that we believed would make the best Rosé. We brought the fruit into the winery and went direct to press in the traditional style – only a few hours on the skins in total. The result was a delightfully flavorful, slightly paler wine with fresh acidity, perfect for this light red wine meant to be served nicely chilled on a warm day.
